An Expression of Interest to engage a service provider to deliver a national information and referral service to assist victims and survivors of child sexual abuse, practitioners and the general public to navigate the service system and access help and information, is now open on AusTender.
The practice guide provides evidence-based information and resources to help shape how workers and organisations respond to victims and survivors of child sexual abuse of all ages.
The consultation summaries provide a summary of feedback we heard from government and non-government stakeholders about the design and delivery of a national point of referral to assist victims, survivors and the community looking for information and support.
We engaged the Australian Centre for Child Protection at the University of South Australia to develop the national Minimum Practice Standards: Specialist and Community Support Services Responding to Child Sexual Abuse, which are now available.
We commissioned the University of Canberra News and Media Research Centre to develop evidence‑based media guides to encourage responsible reporting on child sexual abuse and support victims and survivors engaging with the media.
