Now open - Expression of Interest for a service provider to deliver a national information and referral service to assist victims and survivors of child sexual abuse
Following extensive consultation and design work, we have released an Expression of Interest on AusTender to engage a service provider to deliver a national information and referral service to assist victims and survivors of child sexual abuse, practitioners and the general public to navigate the service system and access help and information (under the National Strategy’s First National Action Plan Measure 7).
The service will include a national website, national helpline and specialist child sexual abuse service navigators and will be a central point of access to information, resources and referrals to targeted and broad support services.
Consultation outcomes, including those reflected in the Final National Point of Referral - Community Consultations Summary 2023 and the Final National Point of Referral - Service Sector and Government Consultations Summary 2023, have directly shaped the design of the service model.
Thank you to the stakeholders, particularly those with lived experience, who took part in these consultations and provided their time and expertise.
This Expression of Interest will be open on AusTender for a period of six weeks from Monday 14 October 2024 to Friday 22 November 2024. In the coming days, the Department will publish a pre-recorded industry briefing via the procurement’s AusTender page. Additionally, any responses or addenda will be published on AusTender and we encourage everyone to check the site regularly for the latest information.
