A ‘safety team’ or ‘safety network’ is a group of adults and services you can go to for advice or support when it comes to questions about child safety. Adults can often feel a lot of pressure to have all the answers, but you do not have to be an expert. You are not alone, and there are people and services that can help.
Your ‘safety team’ or ‘safety network’ is a group of adults you choose to keep you safe. They are called ‘safety helpers’, ‘safe people’ or ‘trusted adults’. This activity will help you create your safety team by listing your safety team on one hand. You can find a hand to print and fill out in the PDF version linked above.
You may like to complete this activity with a friend, family member or other adult and see who they list as their safety team.
